I'm having trouble signing in

Email + 8-character password, and a Forgot link next to the password field.

Check that your email is spelled correctly and your password is at least 8 characters. If you've forgotten your password, use the "Forgot?" link next to the password field. If the email address you're trying doesn't exist, create a new account from the Sign Up tab.

How does Protected Transaction Review work?

Funds held in trust, inspection window after delivery, evidence reviewed if a Protected Review opens.

When you pay, funds are held by Pakstoor's regulated escrow partner while delivery and inspection happen. After courier-confirmed delivery, the buyer has the applicable inspection window shown on the deal to inspect the item and open a Protected Review if the item is damaged, missing, or materially not as described. If a Protected Review is opened within that window, release is paused while Pakstoor reviews the case. If no Protected Review is opened, Pakstoor may instruct the escrow partner to release the funds to the seller.

How do I sell an item?

Photos, price, description, courier. About 5 minutes.

Click Sell an item from any page. Photos, price, a short description and a pick of courier take about 5 minutes. You'll be asked to tick that you accept the rules; publishing confirms that acknowledgement and your listing goes live.

Article 04 Prohibited

What can't I sell on Pakstoor?

Anything that can't legally be shipped by a registered SA courier.

Firearms, alcohol, tobacco, counterfeit goods, live animals, or anything that can't legally be shipped by a registered South African courier. Listings that break these rules are removed and repeat offenders lose their account. See the full list in our Terms of Service.

Why do you need my ID?

FICA. Sellers only, only after their first successful sale.

FICA (Financial Intelligence Centre Act) requires us to verify identity for anyone receiving marketplace payouts. Buyers don't need to verify: only sellers do, and only after their first successful sale.

Article 06 Damage / loss

My item arrived damaged. What now?

Photograph everything. Don't accept it if the issue is serious. Open a Protected Review.

What is Pakstoor Heavy?

Larger fixed parcel sizes for courier-accepted items.

Pakstoor uses fixed parcel-size bands. Standard parcel sizes run from XS to XXL. Pakstoor Heavy adds four larger fixed bands — HEAVY, SUPER HEAVY, ULTRA HEAVY, and TITAN — for larger items our courier partner can accept.

Large parcels only proceed where our courier partner can return a live price for the selected size. If no live price is available the listing cannot use automatic courier checkout at that moment. Large but light parcels may still cost more, because couriers charge using size as well as weight.

An item being within a supported parcel size does not mean it is allowed — prohibited, restricted, unsafe, unlawful, or courier-forbidden items remain blocked. Choose the packed parcel size accurately. If the parcel is larger or heavier than declared, additional courier charges may apply.

Why can't I send free-text messages?

Structured chat closes the common scam patterns without punishing honest buyers.

Pakstoor restricts chat to a catalogue of structured questions and offers. This closes the common friction points (off-platform contact exchange, payment-detail sharing) without punishing honest buyers. If the catalogue doesn't cover your question, pick Other: your question goes to Pakstoor for review before the seller sees it.

Article 08 Ratings

How do ratings work?

1–5 stars, both sides, after deal completion.

After a deal is marked complete, both buyer and seller can leave a 1–5 star rating with an optional short comment. Ratings are visible on the seller's profile. Fake ratings get the account suspended.
